I don't know much about backrest's. But I can spot high quality workmanship, and these backrest's are it. My wife got me one for my 2010 Honda helix. I wasn't thrilled when she told me the price. That all changed when it got here. This thing is worth every penny she paid. Took me 45 minutes to install, and I couldn't be happier if you threw me in a pool full of bacon. If you own a motorcycle buy one, you will not regret it

I recently rode 2,500 miles around Europe over 14 days. The Utopia backrest transformed my GL1800 from fairly comfortable to the most comfortable bike I have ever owned. In fact, it was more comfortable than most of the cars I have owned! I can ride all day and not have a single ache or pain. I strongly recommend this product.

I can now claim to be an EXPERT at installing Utopia backrests on my bikes. Today I received the new backrest for one of my smaller bikes, a 2005 Honda Helix. Given that I have installed so many of these Utopia backrests on my bigger bikes....several GL-1800s, a couple Royal Stars, etc, etc, I thought I would "time" this installation, and see how quickly I could do it...with the priority of doing it RIGHT. From beginning to end...seat on the bike...to seat back on the bike, and backrest adjusted...the completed total time was 21 minutes. It is apparent that I have no fear of cutting into my seat cover and foam, and know exactly what tools to use. This time was a breeze, and I LOVE my new Utopia backrest on my little Honda Helix. Thank YOU...Utopia, for always making such a quality product.

Received my backrest yesterday. A few days earlier than I expected. I had all the prep work done so it only took about 30 minutes to put it on. Went for a short ride and it feels great. Highly reccomend it to anyone who is thinking about putting one on
